Meet Diesel. He is a 3 year old Landseer Newfoundland. He has a fabulous personality that makes you laugh every day. When he wants attention he will let you know by making noises such as barks and moaning. He tail will just slap back and forth when he knows you are talking about him. Like many Newfoundlands Diesel has skin issues. He must be adopted by a family who is familiar with Newfies and understands the care that is required to be given to Newfies. He required weekly medicated baths and eye drops daily. These two things will probably be required for the rest of his life. He is very healthy now but these will be ongoing issues ... (Read More)for Diesel. When we rescued him ½ of his hair on his body was gone and he had severe ear and eye infections. He is finally healthy as long as he receives the proper care. He loves all dogs but does not like dogs that play rough or aggressive with him. He does not require a crate. He will just stay laying on your bed or couch until you have time for him. He is housetrained and only likes to go out and do his business and come right back inside. He is the perfect weight, height and makings of a Newfoundland. If you have always wanted a Landseer Newfoundland this is your opportunity In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5.     Bear is a Newfoundland that came to us with a full female Saint Bernard named Baby. The two have lived together all of their lives since they were puppies. They are owner surrenders due to a military family being deployed out of the country. These two are the sweetest Saint and Newfie you will ever find. They are house trained and love other animals. We believe Baby and Bear to 5-6 years old and are in great health. Baby is to be spayed before April and Bear is already neutered. In the best case scenario we would love someone to adopt these two together. It is not mandatory but that is our goal. An application that will adopt both ... (Read More)will take preference.
